Tired of the rhetoric? Tired of the sloganeering? The partisanship? The noise? Oh god, the noise.

HeartsnMindsTO might just be the cure that ails ya.

“Creating a livable city one voice at a time.”

This week’s voice? Yours truly. Babbling semi-intelligibly about trying to bridge the urban-suburban divide that’s currently being exploited to political advantage.

It’s just the start. Over the course of the summer and fall, into next year as the 2014 municipal election campaign kicks in, there will be more voices from all parts of the city, from a whole slew of perspectives, talking about the things that make the city tick and ways we can change the things that aren’t working so smoothly.

A conversation to engage the… ahem, ahem… hearts and minds of Torontonians in a constructive dialogue of city-building, one topic at a time.

  1. I suppose you were joking about being a downtown elite. Where many downtowners voted along with other vehicle owners for Ford because of the dreaded VRT to personally save $60 for their vote.
